Customer Churn

Churn is the rate at which customers stop paying or using your product over a given period — the inverse of retention.

Churn erodes recurring revenue and CLV. Reducing it is often cheaper than acquiring new customers, which is why success and renewals matter as much as sales.

Early-warning signals (usage drops, support tickets, missed renewals) let teams intervene before a customer leaves.
